With many of us “Baby Boomers” approaching retirement, financial planning with our current unstable economy isn’t very positive. Most of us are now looking to earn extra income not  just for now but for a comfortable, worry- free retirement.

What even makes it worse, we are now are finding our kids and even grandkids experiencing their own financial duress.

What are the options? Can a Non-Geek or “Technically Challenged” Baby Boomer really make money online? There are so many of these MLM and Network Marketing deals out there, are they all just scams? A legitimate Home Based business has always been an option. It’s a multi-billion dollar worldwide industry. An ambitious person can add additional income, develop a second career and pay lass taxes. It’s a fact! However with so many scams and money losing propositions appearing on the Internet, it is hard to select the right one that is worth putting time and effort into it’s growth. Additionally, the biggest factor for most of us often is the lack of specific technical skills or the know-how to become a success story in the world of  online marketing.

This is the fact: Old School Network marketing has been replaced by the New School of Web 2.0 attraction marketing. Instead of hounding your “friends, neighbors and relatives,” the New School Paradigm shift simply uses Social Media Marketing to attract like minded people and allows them to personally connect through the Internet.  Attraction Marketing is simply establishing a relationship with credibility first, then the business opportunity second.

I have been fortunate enough to be a founding member of the TR2MasterMind Group with some of the top ”New School” Attraction Marketers in the business. Is this the Law of Attraction in Action? I truly believe so.  My intention is to personally mentor, coach and train any individual who wants to change their personal and financial circumstances.

After a 26 year successful career as an executive recruiter in the high tech employment field, I now have returned to my roots in Network Marketing.

However, I must confess, when I was first introduced to Network Marketing (MLM in those days) through Amway in 1970, I learned the art and science of “one on one” prospecting and recruiting.  With these “on the job training skills”  I learned from MLM, in 1971, three of us started an  executive search firm on a $300 shoestring became a multi-million dollar success story only a  few years later. However, in this exectuve search business like many other professions,  I trained new recruiters the trade secrets of our business and then they left, starting their own recruiting search firms and competed against us.” This is the typical corporate ownership treadmill of “recruiting, training and retaining.”

For experienced conventional business owners, this is why the whole concept of Attraction Network Marketing makes sense to entrepreneurs who really understand what it is like to start up, own and maintain a multimillion dollar business.

Then see it all collapse when their trained employees learn the “tricks of the trade” and then leave to compete against them.

My re-entry into Internet Marketing over the last decade includes role as a corporate level trainer for several home-based businesses.

An integral member in many-start up ventures, my unmistakable New England accent has been heard hosting many networking conference marketing and training calls. However, I must admit that the whole new world of the Internet Marketing and Social Media has shifted the paradigm to give a HUGE advantage to the Internet savvy entrepreneurs. I found the solution. This self-created blogsite that you are reading right now is testimony to a training system where a guy who was so technically challenged that years ago,  I solved the problem of that annoying flashing 12:00 on my VCR by a piece of black tape! With this new digital era of electronic gizmos,  neighborhood kids and my grandson were my my “go to guys” and trainers on proper functionality of my cell phone and TV remote!

On a personal note, in addition to being Certified Hypnotherapist, my wife Addie (http://dearaddie.com/) and I are BOTH “Law of Attraction” coachs and trainers with a mission to develop skills and confidence for emerging home-based entrepreneurs. Born in the first official year of the “baby boomer” generation,” I recognize the realistic retirement needs of my generation.
